Cellulite is a disease in which the skin gets dimpled and lumpy due to deposition of fat. This condition is more common in women than men. Top Herbal Remedies For Cellulite

1. Thyme

Prepare an herbal blend by mixing eight drops of thyme with four drops of lemon. Use six drops of this blend and add in bath water. Massage this blend over the infected areas under water.

2. Sage

Eight drops of sage can be mixed with four drops of patchouli to prepare anti-cellulite bath. Add six drops of this blend in bath water and massage over the infected skin under water.

3. Rosemary

Prepare an herbal blend by mixing six drops of rosemary with six drops of juniper. Six drops of this blend can be added in bath water and used as anti-cellulite bath. Massage this herbal blend over the skin for treating cellulite. Another remedy is to make an herbal blend by mixing two drops of rosemary essential oil in four tablespoons of sweet almond oil, two drops of funnel essential oil and two drops of juniper essential oil. Apply this blend over the skin and massage it.

4. Rose Hip Oil

Mix two teaspoons of rose hip oil with two tablespoons of almond to prepare massage oil. The oil can be massaged over the infected skin in the morning time as well as at night. It is helpful in treating cellulite by increasing circulation.

5. Horse Chestnut

The herb contains aescin that helps in reducing cellulite. Infusion prepared from leaves of horse chestnut can be beneficial for the treatment of cellulite. Prepare this oil by taking fresh leaves of this herb, chop them and use olive oil or castor oil to cover them up. Keep this under the sun for three to four weeks and strain. Pour the top and leave watery sediment behind. Five hundred to six hundred milligrams of this herb can be consumed in the form of extract once in a day.

6. Ginger

The herb has anti-cellulite properties and helps in reducing cellulite by increasing the transportation of oxygen in the body. It is one of the best herbal remedies for treating cellulite. It helps in removing toxic materials and in getting the right amount of oxygen required to burn fat. Take one fourth tablespoon of ginger, one fourth tablespoon of fenugreek seed, one fourth tablespoon of dill seed and a clove. Soak this mixture in eight ounces of boiling water for five minutes. Drinking this is effective in reducing the symptoms of cellulite.

7. Juniper

Prepare an infusion by mixing crushed juniper berries with horsetail that is effective in treating cellulite. Take six tablespoons of juniper berries along with three tablespoons of horsetail herb in boiling water. Add this decoction in bath water and massage on the body. The liquid extract of this decoction can also be used for preparing a lotion that can be used for treating cellulite.

8. Apple Cider Vinegar

Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in eight ounces of water and drink this every day in the morning time. Honey can be added for sweetening it. Apple cider vinegar can also be used for topical medication.

Prepare a solution by adding three parts of apple cider vinegar in one part of massage oil. Apply this solution over the infected skin for two times in a day for getting relief from symptoms of cellulite. Massaging this solution over the skin is very beneficial.

It is helpful in supporting the connective tissue. It acts as an antioxidant and improves circulation. Grape seed extract is also used a lot for preparing anti-cellulite creams. Bioflavonoids present in grape seeds are beneficial for protecting the body cells from damage.

Lemon juice can be combined with cayenne pepper for treating cellulite. Squeeze one lemon and add the lemon juice in eight ounces of water along with a dash of cayenne pepper. Drink this solution for three times in a day that is helpful in increasing circulation.

Fennel has anti-inflammatory properties and can be effective in treating cellulite. Two to six teaspoons of fennel can be added to salad. Another remedy is to add one to two teaspoons of crushed fennel seeds in warm water. Pregnant and nursing women should avoid using the fennel essential oil.

12. Milk Thistle

Silymarin contained in milk thistle is an antioxidant that is helpful in detoxification of liver. It helps in reducing cellulite by improving functioning of liver.

13. Oregano

Mix six drops of oregano with six drops of lemon to prepare an anti-cellulite bath. Add six drops of this herbal blend in bath water and massage over the infected skin.

14. Strawberry

Make a blend by mixing one ginger root with two tablespoons of kaolin and seven or eight strawberries. Use this blend over the skin to get relief from cellulite.

15. Dandelion

Tea prepared from dandelion is effective in providing relief from cellulite. One to two tablespoons of dried dandelion leaves can be consumed for three times in a day. Two hundred fifty milligrams of this herb in the form of extract can be taken for three times per day.
