Blueberries

Blueberries are enriched with large contents of antioxidants which help to protect your body from getting damaged by free-radicals. Berries also prevent degeneration of the brain and it also helps to vitalize and boost memory dramatically.

It is easy for you to eat a variety of berries every day as they are easily available and are equally delicious. During winter, berries are also considered a good option. This is because thawing and freezing of the the fruit makes the powerful flavonoid compounds much more available. Berries can be consumed in fruit salads, desserts or normally as well.

Avocados

Avocados are a strong source of monounsaturated fats, also known for improving the flow of blood in the body. Better and efficient blood flow helps in keeping the various organs as well as the systems running smooth and steady which also includes the brain.

You can have avocados at any time during the day but it is ideal if you opt it for your breakfast. You can add avocado in scrambled eggs and eat them with bread toasts. You can also have them by making it a part of your salad during meals. 

Spinach

Dark green and leafy vegetables such as spinach are an excellent source of iron. Deficiency in iron can lead to irreversible, altered development of the brain in infants and in children as well as attention problem in adults and adolescents.

Put spinach leaves, properly washed in the curries you prepare for your meal. You can also have them with sandwiches by putting them along with the fresh veggies you put it in between. One requires only 10 milligrams of lutein per day i.e. about 1/2 cup spinach ever day.

Chocolate

Dark chocolates are a substantial source of Vitamin E. It contains special chemical compounds which tends to have a positive effect on the brain.It contains a chemical phenylethylamine (PEA) which helps in stimulating the mind. Eating chocolate makes people happy. So you can have them during the course of the day to improve your concentration. This is a good home remedy for reducing ADD.
