An oral problem which infects the gum tissues is referred as pyorrhoea. In pyorrhoea there may be infection in the bones and ligaments which supports the teeth. If it is not treated properly then it may lead to some serious problems.

Lack of dental hygienic measures is the main cause for pyorrhoea. The gums get affected due to overgrowth of bacteria. In medical terms it is referred as Pyorrhoea Alveolaris. In most of the cases it may not cause any pain. You can easily prevent pyorrhea with healthy diet and oral hygiene.

Home Remedies For Pyorrhoea

Clove Oil Massage And Raw Cloves

Medicinal qualities are found to be abundant in clove oil. For various oral problems clove oil is the best solution. The anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties present in clove oil may fight against the bacteria in our mouth and can provide a permanent solution for inflammations and swellings.

Perform this massage with clove oil daily. Depending on the severity of the problem, you can do the massage up to 3 times a day. For better result you can also chew raw cloves.

Barberry Tea And Barberry Juice

Both barberry juice and barberry extracts are good for pyorrhoea. You can use barberry extracts to prepare tea and mix with lemon juice. Before you consume barberry make sure that you do not have any allergies with barberry. You can also massage your teeth with barberry extracts.

Ginger

The anti-bacterial property of ginger helps to kill the bacteria in your mouth. It also contains anti-viral and anti-allergic properties which protects your body from virus and allergies.

You can drink ginger tea and can also eat raw ginger mixed with honey and lemon. Ginger plays a major role in digestion. So include ginger in your meal daily for a healthy life.

Banana, Orange And Guava Fruits

Eat bananas with inner peels and massage your gums with orange peels. This will reduce gum inflammation to a great extent. Drink more lemon juice to prevent oral problems.

Chew guava fruit with leaves as both fruit and leaf may provide strength to your gums and teeth and it will also help stop bleeding in the gums.

Castor Oil And Mustard Oil

Mix 200ml of castor oil with 100ml of honey and use it with 5 grams of camphor. If you rub your teeth with this mixture, then it may cure your oral problems and it may give more strength to your gums. To prevent bacteria, you can rub your teeth with mustard oil. Before you apply it on your teeth, mix a pinch of raw salt with mustard oil.

Apart from these home remedies, you can also try some other natural ways to cure pyorrhoea. Mix salt and pepper and use this mixture with pomegranate powder for massage. This may kill the bacteria and prevents swellings. Though there are more home remedies are available for pyorrhoea the simple way is to eat nutritious diet. Healthy food is essential for us to protect our body against any kind of diseases and especially against pyorrhoea.
