5 Remedies For Big Eyelashes

Long eyelashes have always been an attractive part of a woman. The eyelashes will not only protect our eyes, but also enhances and accentuates a woman’s features. Every woman wants to have long eyelashes to look beautiful. Some women may find their eyelashes to be short and attribute it to heredity.

However, research indicates that eyelashes are not completely grown and are not in their full size. There are products that can help hasten their growth. The following are a few herbal solutions that help in growing long eyelashes.

Herbal Remedies For Big Eyelashes

Green Tea

One of the ways to grow long beautiful eyelashes is by applying cool and unsweetened green tea on your lashes with a small cotton ball. Enriched with flavonoids and epigallocatechin-3-gallate, green tea possesses powerful health-supportive effects and is a strong antioxidant.

This remedy tea is a tested solution for short eyelashes. This is an effective way of growing them without having to worry about any side effects. Make sure you do not get any of it into your eyes. In case, it gets into the eyes, rinse it off with cold water.

Aloe Vera, Jojoba And Chamomile Mixture

Another efficient solution for growing long and beautiful eyelashes is by using a base of one tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice, and one teaspoon of Chamomile tea. The tea should be strong. You can use one tea bag in quarter cup of boiling water and steep it. Add one tablespoon of Jojoba or Coconut oil to this decoction.

Using the wand of old mascara , (make sure the wand is washed with warm soap water and then hot salty water to remove the mascara and any bacteria in it) apply this conditioning mix to your lashes. Remove any excess solution using a cotton ball. This should be applied twice a day. You can give it some SPF protection by adding half a teaspoon of sesame oil to the mix.

Rosemary

Rosemary is one of the oldest hair tonics in use. It stimulates the hair follicles, and because hair growth starts in the follicles, homemade shampoo with some rosemary added into it will boost the growth and regrowth of new hair.Rosemary can be taken and used in tincture as it blooms all year long. Alternatively, one can also use the herb in dried form.

Decoction Of Cornflower And Calendula Flower

This decoction can be used as an eye compress to elevate the beauty of eyelashes and to get rid of the tiredness of eyes. This lotion helps in getting beautiful eyelashes.

In addition, it reduces signs of tiredness in the eyes. The lashes should be cleaned using an exfoliating scrub. The lotion must then be gently massaged on the lashes and washed off completely with water.

Nettles

Nettles are a great stimulator for growing long eyelashes. It can be used in the fresh form or dried form, make it into a tincture and add it to your soap. Nettles can be picked in the summer or spring or you can just walk down to the local herbal store, where it is available in the dried form.
